Bayhealth received the 2010 and 2009 Clinical Excellence Award for Overall Critical Care from HealthGrades, the nation’s leading healthcare ratings company. These awards place Bayhealth’s clinical outcomes in the top ten percent nationally for each recognized area of care. In addition to being Ranked Best (#1) in Delaware for Overall Critical Care, for 2010 Bayhealth was also Five-Star Rated for Treatment of Sepsis. Bayhealth’s 2010 HealthGrades Cardiac Care Achievements include being Ranked #1 in Delaware for Overall Cardiac Services, #1 in Delaware for Cardiac Surgery for three years in a row (2008, 2009 & 2010) and #2 in Delaware for Cardiology Services. Additionally, Bayhealth was Five-Star Rated for Valve Replacement Surgery for three years in a row (2008, 2009 & 2010), Five-Star Rated for Treatment of Heart Attack for three years in a row (2008, 2009 & 2010) and Five-Star Rated for Treatment of Heart Failure for four years in a row (2007 - 2010).

Bayhealth was named to the 2008 list of the Most Wired – the Most Improved by Hospitals & Health Networks® magazine and also received the 2008 McKesson Chairman’s Achievement Award.
Bayhealth received four 2008 Silver Annual Performance Awards from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Both Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospital received two awards each for having 12 consecutive months of 85 percent or higher adherence to all performance measures in "Get with the Guidelines" latest evidence-based guidelines for Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure.
Bayhealth’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Milford Memorial Hospital received a 2007 W. L. (Bill) Gore Award of Excellence for demonstrating high levels of performance excellence.
Bayhealth Home Care was named one of the Home Care Elite by Outcomes Concept Systems in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Bayhealth also received the Quality Leader Golden Apple Award from Quality Insights of Delaware in 2008.
Bayhealth’s Child Care & Early Learning Center is a 2008 recipient of the Delaware Quality Award’s Delaware Quality Commitment Award and a 2009 recipient of the Delaware Quality Award’s Quality Award of Merit.
