Bayhealth looks forward to hosting community members at the second “Go Pink at the Rink” event on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Centre Ice Rink at Delaware State Fair, 18500 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952. In addition, Bayhealth is excited to partner with University of Delaware Athletics for Go Pink at the Rink this year, with the shared goal of increasing breast cancer awareness and improving the lives of our community members.
Go Pink at the Rink is an extension of Bayhealth’s annual Go Pink! Efforts that support breast cancer screenings and increase awareness around the disease.
All community members are invited to attend this event for a fun-filled afternoon of ice skating and raising awareness. The first 50 attendees will receive complimentary ice rink admission and skate rentals.
Bayhealth Cancer Institute will be on-site offering free clinical breast exams, breast cancer education, discuss the importance of getting screened, and provide information about other services offered.
To add to the fun, attendees will get to meet and skate with Division I athletes and their mascot YoUDee. All event attendees will also be entered to win University of Delaware Women’s Basketball 2024-25 season tickets.
Visit Bayhealth.org/Go-Pink to learn more about this community event. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink to support the cause. Bayhealth’s 2024 Go Pink! t-shirt can be purchased at online while supplies last.
