Delaware Mini-Medical School

Bayhealth has partnered with the Delaware Public Health Association’s Delaware Academy of Medicine and the Sussex County Health Coalition to present the Early Fall 2024 Delaware Mini-Medical School series. This virtual experience is a free, six-week course designed for middle school, high school and undergraduate students who are interested in a healthcare career path and want to learn more about the various opportunities available.

The virtual session will be hosted in an online classroom setting on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. from Sept. 11 through Oct. 9. Each session will feature an in-depth lecture with a Bayhealth subject matter expert, followed by time for questions. The topics include cardiology, health informatics, anesthesia, emergency medicine, radiology, and psychiatry.

Participants who attend all six sessions will receive a signed certificate of completion and the opportunity to join the Delaware Youth Medical Academy.
