Rebekah Bernat, PA-C

Bayhealth Physician Assistant Rebekah Bernat, PA-C, cares for patients at the Bayhealth Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgical Associates practice in Dover, Delaware. Bernat has a clinical interest in surgical procedures.

With a desire to care for the people in the community where she grew up, Bernat first attended the University of Delaware to pursue her undergraduate degree. She then went on to earn her graduate degree at Arcadia University, prior to beginning her career at Bayhealth. Bernat has always been very interested in surgery and the specialty of cardiology, so combining both in her career has been a great fit.

When it comes to relating to her patients, personal connections are a priority to Bernat. She finds that this infuses the care they receive which intentionality and ensures that the patient is allotted space to feel truly heard.

When Bernat isn’t at work, she enjoys down time spent at Bethany Beach with her family.
