Taqdees Afreen, MD

Taqdees Afreen, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician. 

Always wanting to help others at their time of greatest need, Dr. Afreen knew becoming a doctor was the right fit for her. During her medical training, she was drawn to pediatrics specifically because she likes interacting with children and their families. In her field, she is inspired each day to preserve the well-being of the littlest of patients and facilitate their healthy development as they grow up.  

Dr. Afreen evaluates and treats newborns in the hospital and also sees children of all ages in her outpatient practice. Her patients’ health is her highest priority. She provides compassionate care to help them recover when they are ill and preventative medicine so that children can stay healthy. Knowing how distressing a childhood illness can be for a family, Dr. Afreen is always there for them. She takes time to answer any questions parents have to help them best understand and manage their child’s health. 

When she’s not working, Dr. Afreen enjoys spending time with her family and three young daughters. She also loves to read.
