Bayhealth’s wound care and hyperbaric medicine center offers progressive treatments and comprehensive care for complex and hard-to-heal wounds. Let our expert team provide thorough assessment and wound care management to benefit your patients. We’re committed to improving patients’ health and keeping you informed of their progress.
When to Refer a Patient
If your patient has a wound that hasn’t healed in 30 days or isn’t responding to conventional treatment, Bayhealth’s Wound Care Center can help. The nature of a wound itself or underlying diseases can disrupt the healing process. We identify the barriers and develop an individualized treatment plan to heal a wide range of wounds – from diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers to complicated surgical and traumatic wounds.
Patients can typically be seen as early as the next day after being referred. Our caring team provides convenient scheduling, in-depth education, and personalized attention to patients’ overall wellbeing.
Advanced Modalities for Better Outcomes
Using innovative technology and techniques such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and bioengineered skin grafting, the Bayhealth Wound Care Center gets your patients on track for faster healing, longer-lasting results, and a better quality of life.
