My Inspiration

My curiosity about cancer began at an early age following a loss in my family. As a medical student, I became increasingly fascinated by the complexity of hematology and oncology and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives. This growing interest led me to pursue a career in this field.

What I’m Passionate About

I am passionate about building trusting relationships with my patients and providing personalized, innovative care using the latest advancements in oncology. One of the ways I do so is through a practice called precision oncology which tailors treatments to the unique genetic and molecular characteristics of each patient’s cancer and allows for more targeted and effective therapies aimed to improve outcomes.

Off the Clock

Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and soccer, which help me stay focused and balanced. These hobbies allow me to recharge and maintain the perseverance needed in my professional life.

Oncology is not just about treating cancer—it’s about being there for patients and their families emotionally and mentally as they navigate their diagnosis and treatment. With that philosophy in mind, I am committed to treating the whole person with empathy and clear communication through what’s likely the most challenging time in their life, while using the latest in medical advancements to fight their disease.
