About
Breanna has always been passionate about healthcare. Working as a scribe then a medical assistant with an ENT physician, she discovered the difference that could be made in a patient’s life after treatment for an ear, nose, or throat condition. This inspired her to become a physician assistant in the ENT field.
Born and raised in Cecil County, Maryland, just over the Delaware state line, Breanna attended high school at Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. She knew she eventually wanted to return to the first state to give back to the local community. She takes pride in forming trusted relationships with her patients. She believes that taking the time to truly listen to patients is one of the most important aspects in helping them achieve optimal health and well-being.
While in PA school, at the University of Lynchburg, Breanna participated in the Virginia Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholars Program—designed to educate healthcare professionals on social determinants of heath, cultural competency, substance use disorders, and behavioral health. She gained valuable experience working with patients from many different backgrounds and offering compassionate and personalized medical care to best meet each person’s unique needs.
When she is not working, Breanna enjoys the beach, camping, traveling, and playing board games. She has also spent time volunteering for a local nonprofit organization that builds affordable homes to help families.
