About
My Inspiration
I am Nigerian Canadian and spent most of my time in the Toronto area before moving to the U.S. during medical school. I spent a lot of time playing sports growing up, particularly soccer and basketball. Since it was such a big part of my life, I wanted to have a career related to athletics in some way. My college major was in human kinetics, which focused on health sciences, anatomy and exercise science, and this led me to pursue sports medicine.
What I’m Passionate About
Being able to use your body and exercise is essential to living a healthy lifestyle. I am passionate about forming positive relationships with my patients and the community. My clinical interests include treatment for overuse injuries, degenerative disorders, managing acute/chronic sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and performance optimization. I provide intra-articular injections (including ultrasound-guided). I also serve as a team physician for Delaware State University.
Off the Clock
In addition to being a huge sports fan, particularly soccer, basketball and football, I love traveling and being with family and friends in my spare time.
My Commitment to You
I am committed to open communication and shared decision-making with my patients. I strive to make an impact in their lives by guiding them in injury prevention, offering treatment when needed, and helping them progress.
