About
Dr. Deyl was drawn to the gastroenterology field because it involves care for a wide range of disorders. Whether it’s helping a patient manage a chronic gastrointestinal (GI) condition, doing an emergency intervention to stop a GI bleed, or preventing cancer through the removal of polyps in a routine colonoscopy, Dr. Deyl is dedicated to providing therapies that improve and save lives.
A firm believer in shared decision making, Dr. Deyl takes time to inform her patients about all the medical and non-medical options available to treat their underlying condition and address their symptoms. She offers her recommendation and assists them in making an informed decision, then guides them through the next steps of their treatment plan. She has a clinical interest in treating inflammatory bowel disease, for which many new treatment options are available to help people go into remission and get their life back.
Dr. Deyl finds great fulfillment in meeting people from all walks of life and from all corners of the world through her work. Her overarching goal in patient care is to learn each person’s story and work together with them to help them feel their best.
When she’s not working, Dr. Deyl enjoys cooking, exercising, going to the beach with her family, and going to farmers markets to find local, fresh organic foods.
