About
Dr. Rippert is a cardiologist with Bayhealth Heart & Vascular. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Ursinus College, she graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as a doctor of osteopathy. She completed her internal medicine residency at Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia and fellowship training at Graduate Hospital, also in Philadelphia.
Dr. Rippert was in private practice starting in 1997 when she began practicing in Dover, Delaware. In 2006, she opened Delaware Heart & Vascular, P.A. in partnership with Dr. Vincent D. Abbrescia. The practice later joined Bayhealth Medical Group in 2019.
Dr. Rippert has won many awards and honors, including the Medical Society of Delaware’s Annual Young Physician Award and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Teacher of the Year. In addition to her work as a practicing cardiologist, she is a clinical professor with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Rippert provides cardiology services for adults and geriatric patients. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, playing field hockey and cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers.
