Dr. Jaitly went into medicine because he wanted to help people. After completing medical school in India, he came to the U.S. to pursue a residency in neurology, followed by fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the Medical College of Virginia.
Before joining Bayhealth, Dr. Jaitly worked as a neurologist in numerous private practices and hospital settings in Maryland, North Carolina, and Washington DC, and most recently in the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University. He has served as assistant director of clinical neurophysiology laboratories and assistant professor of neurology at the Medical College of Virginia, and as director of neurology and stroke services at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center.
Dr. Jaitly applies his expertise to provide specialized and high-quality neurological care to every patient. He diagnoses and treats problems of the nervous system that may include symptoms such as numbness and tingling, seizures, migraines as well as balance, movement or memory issues, among others. He also helps patients who are recovering from a stroke.
In his spare time, Dr. Jaitly likes to read and enjoys helping local athletes and high school teams.
