About
Rob had several influences in his life that inspired him to become a physician assistant. As a high school student, he spent summers working with his uncle, a physical therapist, at his clinic.
He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Boston University in health studies and after graduation, he worked in infectious disease at his local health department. There, his supervising physician encouraged him to pursue Physician Assistant (PA) school. He completed PA school at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY with a master’s degree in biomedical studies.
Rob’s career spans various specialties, including urgent care and occupational medicine. Along the way, he discovered a love for ENT and allergy and has worked in that specialty ever since. His work at the Bayhealth ENT practice has strengthened care for patients in Kent and Sussex Counties suffering from environmental and pollen allergies. He is particularly passionate about treating those with allergic rhinitis and asthma through treatments such as sublingual and subcutaneous immunotherapy which have the potential to cure patients of their symptoms.
Rob finds it deeply rewarding to engage with each patient to understand the whole person, and not just treat their symptoms. In this way, he can help ensure every patient fully understands their diagnosis. This collaborative approach allows for patients to make the best healthcare decisions for themselves to ultimately feel better and stay well.
Outside of work, Rob has a passion for traveling. He has visited various European countries, such as Scotland, Iceland, and Spain, as well as the Caribbean. He also has completed two medical mission visits to Zacapa, Guatemala.
