About

Todd Brandt, PA-C, is a physician assistant in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and coordinator for Bayhealth’s transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) program. TAVR is a minimally invasive heart procedure that can treat a thickened or diseased aortic valve in the heart in some patients.

After graduating from University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, Todd went on to earn a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Arcadia University. Dedicated to patient-centered care, he takes time to educate his patients on their condition and treatment options so together they can make well-informed decisions that improve their health and overall well-being.

As the TAVR program coordinator, Todd works with a team of heart surgeons to evaluate and care for patients who can benefit from the cutting-edge TAVR procedure—an alternative to open heart surgery to replace a damaged aortic valve. Since 2016 the team has surpassed quality and safety standards, leading to a national certification for Bayhealth’s TAVR program. Todd is proud to work with this team to deliver exceptional heart care and help improve quality of life for patients in central and southern Delaware.

When he’s not working, Todd enjoys family time with his two children.
