Bayhealth Appoints New Chief Operating Officer - Kyle E. Benoit Welcomed on January 6, 2025

Bayhealth, a health system located in central and southern Delaware, has named Kyle E. Benoit, MHA, FACHE, as its newly appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer. His first official day was Jan. 6, 2025.
Benoit joins Bayhealth from Riverside Healthcare in Kankakee, Illinois, where he served as senior vice president and chief operating officer. His prior appointments at the healthcare system included vice president of operations and vice president of clinical services. He also previously served as director of Perioperative Services at University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System in Chicago, Illinois.
“We are truly honored that Kyle has chosen to relocate to Delaware to join the Bayhealth team,” said Bayhealth President and CEO Terry M. Murphy, FACHE. “Kyle’s commitment to advancing people and operations was felt by all of us who had the pleasure of meeting him through the recruitment process. He has a sensible and forward-thinking approach to operations, business and strategy that make him a strong fit on our leadership team as well as a good fit for the communities we serve.”
In his new role with Bayhealth, Benoit is responsible for setting the vision and leading the day-to-day operations at central and southern Delaware’s largest health system. He will oversee planning and business development, corporate support services, supply chain, outpatient and ambulatory services, service lines, and Sussex Campus operations.

Benoit holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, and has been a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2009.
