Infant Care
Fee: None
Infant Care is taught by a clinical educator and focuses on basic infant care to give parents confidence in their ability to take care of their babies safely once they arrive. Topics covered include bathing, diapering, care of skin, safety, newborn characteristics, sleep, crying, and so much more. There will be lecture and demonstrations as well as plenty of time for hands-on practice.
This class is free, but registration is required.
Please bring your infant car seat to class. An instructor from the Delaware Office of Highway Safety will be there to show you how to properly secure a baby in your car seat.
You are permitted to bring one support person to class. All participants will need to wear masks during class. Everyone who registers for the class or who would prefer an online option for this topic will receive access to online Educational Resources for expectant moms. See below for the details.
