About
My Inspiration
I grew up in a medical family. My mom was a trauma nurse and my dad was a Philadelphia firefighter and paramedic, later becoming a nurse himself. While sitting at the breakfast table before school, my parents would share their stories from the night before and I found myself enamored by them. This is when I realized medicine was my calling.
What I’m Passionate About
As a non-invasive cardiologist, I am passionate about my patients. I pride myself on being there for them in their time of need, as well as when they are healthy. I consider it a privilege to be part of their lives, teaching them the skills and tools needed to lead a more heart-healthy lifestyle. I believe that when a patient forms a trusting relationship with their physician, they are more likely to participate in their own health care as part of the team, which ultimately produces better overall outcomes.
Off the Clock
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and my pets. Our two children mean the world to me. Together we enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time at the beach. And being from Philadelphia, I'm an avid E-A-G-L-E-S, Phillies and Flyers fan.
My Commitment to You
I am committed to building trusting relationships with each one of my patients by taking the time to listen to their concerns, educate them about individual disease processes, and move forward to develop an individualized plan of care based on their unique needs.
