Bayhealth Foundation Hosts Third Annual Luncheon for Milford Chamber of Commerce

The Bayhealth Foundation hosted their third annual luncheon for 50 members of the Milford Chamber of Commerce on January 24. The event took place at Big Oyster in Milford and provided an opportunity for Bayhealth to share important updates and continue to build its relationship with community businesses.

During the luncheon, Vice President, Operations & Administrator, Bayhealth Sussex Campus Michael Ashton shared details about the organization’s ongoing expansion efforts, aimed at enhancing access to high-quality healthcare and services in the community. One of the highlights includes the expanded collaboration with Post Acute Medical (PAM), who opened their rehabilitation hospital in Fall of 2024, at the Bayhealth, Sussex Campus.

In addition, attendees learned about the construction of the new Bayhealth Sussex Childcare Center, allowing an additional 102 children of Bayhealth team members to be cared for at an accredited facility with age-appropriate classrooms, play areas and gardens. This initiative reflects the organization’s ongoing dedication to supporting team members and their families.
