
Bayhealth Welcomes Sports Medicine Physician
Bayhealth is pleased to welcome Sports Medicine Physician George Umeh, MD. Dr. Umeh is the newest addition to the Bayhealth Orthopedics team. He joins Orthopedic Surgeons John Burger, MD; Andrew Park, MD; and Advanced Practice Clinicians Greg Sender, PA-C; Megan Olekszyk, PA-C; and Abigail Kozhuharov, AGACNP-BC based in the Bayhealth Orthopedics, Sussex Campus practice in Milford. Dr. Umeh is now welcoming new sports medicine patients. He offers non-operative treatment and care for a range of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
The Bayhealth Orthopedics practices are part of Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians and advanced practice clinicians and teams that operates medical offices throughout Delaware.

Before joining Bayhealth, Dr. Umeh completed a sports medicine fellowship with Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. He did a family medicine residency with a primary care sports medicine track at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in St. George’s, Grenada.
At the Bayhealth Orthopedics, Sussex Campus practice at 100 Wellness Way, Milford, DE 19963, Dr. Umeh offers treatment for overuse injuries, degenerative disorders and acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries as well as intra-articular injections (including ultrasound-guided).
